1. Embedding a Swish Movie Into Your Web PageLuckily, Swish has made this easy for you! After you've gotten your Swish movie the way you like it, you will first need to publish an .swf file. Go to File > Export > SWF.
If you need to, change the name of the file you are exporting. Be sure to note the location of where you are saving it. If you are exporting this to your local copy of a web site, you may browse there and save the .swf in your local web folder. If you have an existing copy of the .swf, you may need to replace it.
Next, you will want to get the HTML code that will embed the movie into your page. Once again, Swish has a handy command to help you do this. Go to File > Export > HTML to clipboard.
Now, go into your web page. Find the place you want the movie to go into. If you are using FrontPage or Dreamweaver in WYSIWYG mode, you may want to type some placeholder text. Then go into your HTML view and find the placeholder text. Highlight it and Edit > Paste (ctrl-v) the exported code into your web page. Save and preview.
