9. Make the Pages

There are many different ways that you can go about creating a web, but perhaps the easiest way is to first begin making the pages that you want to put in the web.

For BabyBlue, we created a splash page (default.htm), a main page (home.htm), a family page, (family.htm), two photo pages (photo.htm and photo2.htm), and a "Read Me" page (readme.htm). This was easy to do because we had already made the page templates, so all we did was to write some content and made a detailed read-me page.

(For the splash page, we didn't use a page template but started out with a blank page.)

When you save your pages, you don't have to save them as a web. However, it does help to keep them in one folder and to keep the images in a subfolder. Make sure that you apply your theme to the pages if you haven't already.
