3. Theme Colors
While you're modifying the theme, you might as well modify the
colors, too.
While you are in the Modify Theme dialog box, click Colors.
Click the Custom tab. Go through the drop down menu and change
the colors of the different page elements (see descriptions below). Do
this to both Normal and Vivid color set.
About Web-Safe Colors
Did you know that not all browsers display colors the same
way? If you want your color to look the same across Internet
Explorer and Netscape, use a color from the 216 web-safe
palette. You'll be pretty safe if you stay within FrontPage's
color palette (when you're in the Custom tab, drop down
on the Colors menu to More Colors and you'll see
some of the web-safe colors). If you want to choose a different
web-safe color, there's a good color chart at
www.lynda.com/hexh.html.
[Note: Changing the color of the Navigation Text will change the color
of the text on buttons EXCEPT for the global/top-level button text. To
change the color of the global button text, you must go to modify
Text, click on More Text Styles, select
mstheme-topbar-font, click Format and select Font,
then finally change the color. There are only a few colors that you may
use.]
